Useful Writers’ Blogs

May 17, 2012

I’ve only  just started looking around for useful blogs for writers.

Kim Weiland, author of several novels has also written the very useful, Outlining Your Novel and a free e-book called Creating Unforgettable Characters. She blogs at Wordplay: Helping Writers Become Authors. Her links page includes wonderful resources like timelines for historical characters, charts for choosing the right shade of colour, Elizabethan insults and marketing tips for authors.

Brian Henry, writer, editor and creative writing instructor at Ryerson University and George Brown College leads creative writing courses and workshops in Mississauga, Oakville and Burlington. He blogs at Quick Brown Fox http://quick-brown-fox-canada.blogspot.ca/ Topics include Canadian Agents, Creative Writing Courses, Writing contests, markets and more!
